About
I am a professional archaeologist working for L-P: Archaeology in London
I undertook my BA in Ancient History and Archaeology at the University of Exeter and then followed it up with a Masters Degree at Royal Holloway in Classical Art and Archaeology. My particular interests lie in Roman Imperial building programs, the topography of ancient Rome, the historic built environment and excavation techniques and methodologies. I also possess a great interest in the archaeology and history of the British Isles which I get to explore extensively through my work in the UK.
I am experienced in excavating both rural and urban deep stratigraphic sites and am also trained in the writing of Desk Based Assessments and Environmental Impact Assessments and am currently undergoing practical training in standing building recording and historic building assessments.
I have participated in research excavations upon Exmoor, Crete and assisted in the running of a field school an excavation run by the University of Kent at Ostia Antica, Italy.
